Instructors

Glenn Massie CPP is the Founder and Principal of Protective Services Group, which specializes in protective services for public figures and corporations. He has 20 years of experience in the protective services field.

During Mr. Massie’s professional career, he has consulted and provided services on Risk and Threat Assessments, Personal Protection, Workplace Violence Prevention, General Security Assessments, Investigations and Pre-Employment Background Screening. He has provided close personal protection to many entertainment personalities, public figures and corporate executives. These assignments have included national and international travel.

Mr. Massie is one of the founding members of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP).  He is also a member of ASIS (American Society for Industrial Security) and has received the designation of CPP (Certified Protection Professional).

 

Jeff Anderson is a retired Deputy Sheriff and a California P.O.S.T. recognized expert in Force Options and Weaponless Defense. He holds 3 Black-belts; a 5th Degree (Godan) in Shudokan Ryu Taiho Jutsu, a 3rd Degree (Sandan) in Shudokan Ryu Karate, and a 2nd Degree (I Dan) in Hapkido.

He is a graduate of the Executive Protection Institute, Berryville, West Virginia, and the U.S. Army Dignitary Protection Course, Germany. He is an active member of the Nine Lives Association, for Protection Specialist.

He perfected his skills as a highly decorated member of the U.S. Army Airborne for ten years and later as a Deputy Sheriff for Riverside County, California. The Police Hall of Fame recognizes him as a Legion of Merit and a Purple Heart recipient. He has instructed Weaponless Defense for several Military Courses and Force Options for Law Enforcement Academies, and Advanced Officer Training.

He is currently a Force Option Training Instructor for a Southern California Police Department and Sheriff's Department. He is on the California P.O.S.T. Perishable Skills Program Advisory Board for Arrest and Control Tactics and Force Options. He is a P.O.S.T. Force Options Training Instructor, training officers statewide. He is a member of ASLET (American Society of Law Enforcement Trainers) providing customized training to Law Enforcement, Security Agencies, Fortune 500 Companies, Protection Details and Private Business.

 

Michael H. Corcoran (Ph.D.) is a former U.S. Secret Service Agent who specialized in identifying and assessing the degree of danger posed by persons who would bring harm to the Services protected. He currently consults and does threat assessments/criminal profiling worldwide for government, law enforcement agencies, businesses, and very skilled at determining an individual's or a group's true potential to become dangerous or render harm. He is internationally recognized as a leading expert in threat assessment and workplace violence.

 

Dale L. June (MA), former U.S. Secret Service Agent with Presidential Protection experience at the White House. Mr. June served under four different administrations and was an expert at identifying and investigating those posing a threat to the safety of the President. He's currently an adjunct professor at both National and Devry Universities in Los Angeles. Dale is the author of Introduction to Executive Protection and is a contributing author and the editor of Protection, Security, and Safeguards. He's been frequently published in security magazines in Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, Germany, and The United Kingdom.

 

James Rewald is an active duty law enforcement officer in Southern California with seventeen years experience. His experience includes private security/executive protection, private investigations, and government intelligence.   Mr. Rewald has instructed members from local, state, federal and military agencies on dignitary protection, combatives and officer safety, urban rural sniper, high risk patrol, tactical pistol, active shooter response, handling bus emergencies, bus assaults, bomb threats and explosives awareness, terrorism awareness and law enforcement response to weapons of mass destruction.
